LinkedIn Coaching, Two Ways to Engage

The Human Sciences Board is funding a unique opportunity for faculty and staff in the human sciences programs to learn, connect, and engage with the help of LinkedIn Coach, Dr. Kristin Malek. In February, Dr. K provided a webinar and a conference workshop on LinkedIn. Now we’re bringing her back to provide more learning opportunities.

Community Coaching

Dr. K will lead six virtual sessions throughout the fall semester. Each session will last 60 minutes and include:

  • A mini lesson by Dr. K
  • A facilitated conversation
  • Time for implementation

Attendees will get bite-sized lessons and put them to use immediately. Dr. K will be available the whole hour to provide guidance and answer questions. Plus, faculty and staff from multiple programs and various universities will collaborate and learn together. All for one and one for all!

Invitations to register will be sent to program listservs a few days prior to each session. All times are Central.

  • Thursday, Sept. 11 at 2 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 2:30 p.m.
  • Monday, Oct. 6 at 3 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 3 p.m.
  • Thursday, Nov. 6 at 1:30 p.m.

Following each community coaching session, the recorded mini-lesson will be added to the YouTube Playlist.

One-on-One Coaching

The HS Board is funding a one-hour, one-on-one coaching session for up to 15 people. Interested faculty and staff will complete an interest form to help align expectations. The management team will connect you and Dr. K so that you can schedule the session based on your availability. Within one month of the coaching session, the human sciences board asks that you submit a short report on what you learned and how you are implementing it.
