The KC Streetcar is free and easy to use. It has been operating for years, but the extension to the Plaza was just completed in the fall of 2025. It picks up and drops off across the street from our conference hotel, providing you with access to more of the city. You'll be able to explore the Crossroads District, Power & Light, and the River Market.

You can track the streetcar arrival at the stop across the street from the hotel. This will help you know when it's arriving. The car titled River Market is going north. The treetcar titled UMKC is going south.

How to Get to Monday's Awards Reception

The award's reception on Monday evening will be off-site at the Rockhill Grille, located in the Crossroads District. Transportation to the reception will be via KC Streetcar! Members of the management team will lead conference attendees from the hotel to the reception site.

  1. Meet at the streetcar stop across the street from the hotel. Be sure to go to the stop south of the hotel, across 45th Street (Art Museums (Northbound). See a map of where to meet.
  2. Once on the streetcar, we will ride for about 15 minutes.
  3. We will exit the streetcar at the Crossroads stop.
  4. The restaurant is a four-minute walk (.2 miles) from the stop. See a map of the walk.

Schedule of Departures to the Reception

4:15 p.m. Departure: Ashley Schultz from the management team will meet attendees at the streetcar pick-up and lead the group to the reception venue.

4:25 p.m. Departure: Morgan Jones and Amanda Burris from the management team will meet attendees at the streetcar stop and lead the group to the reception venue.
