Required Financial Calculator
This course requires a financial calculator with a manual. The instructor can provide video tutorials for the Texas Instruments BA II Plus financial calculator. The instructor is also familiar with the HP12C.
If you do not feel comfortable with a financial calculator for all topics, and you intend to sit for the CFP® exam, the instructor encourages you to purchase Understanding Your Financial Calculator, 6th Ed.: Kaplan Schweser. This text provides keystroke examples for the following calculators: HP 17BII, HP12C, HP10BII, TI BA II Plus, and Sharp EL 733A. Older editions may also suffice.
