Overview

Course Description

This course focuses on exploring experiential learning as both an educational theory and a pedagogical practice. This course is designed to expose students to experiential learning through the review of seminal literature, empirical research, and historical documents. Additionally, this course focuses on applying experiential learning theory in agricultural settings through classroom-based lessons, project-based learning, service learning, guided inquiry, field trips, internships/externships, study abroad, and outdoor/adventure learning.
